Early Release Day: Friday, October 14 is an Early Release Day/Pajama Day! All kiddos are welcome to wear pajamas to school. A $1 donation to Parent Circle is appreciated but not required and participation is optional. If you signed up to provide an item for the teacher luncheon, thank you!
Volunteer Opportunities: We are excited to roll out our SignUp software, where we can house all of our volunteer opportunities in one place. We will add new opportunities as they come in to us, so bookmark that page and check back often! New this week: Tia Roxi would love some volunteers to help students with their Day of the Dead projects such as sugar skulls, papel picado, and calaveras.
PC Meeting Change: Please mark your calendars for Tuesday, November 1st at 6:30. We will have our November meeting one week early to avoid conflicts related to Election Day. Now you’re free to go vote like the future depends on it (spoiler alert: it does).
Finally, don’t forget our Spirit Night at Two Roosters on October 25th. Details are here: School Spirit Oak (1). The proceeds will be donated to Ms. Dawson. We are also collecting cards, letters and donations for Ms. Dawson through classroom teachers, photos via email to rocsparentcircle@gmail.com or donations via PayPal/Venmo @ROCSPC. Donations will be accepted through October 31st.
