Spirit Night: We will have a Spirit Night at Two Roosters Ice Cream on Tuesday, October 25th. This fundraiser will benefit Ms. Dawson. Please see the flyer here: School Spirit Oak (1) Donations can also be sent to @ROCSPC via Venmo/Paypal and cash/check to your child’s teacher. Please also consider sending a card, drawing or emailing photos to rocsparentcircle@gmail.com. Contributions will be collected until October 31st.
Parent Circle Meeting: Our next Parent Circle meeting will occur on November 1st. This is a change from our usual date to avoid conflicts with Election Day.
Substitutes Needed: Parents, grandparents, neighbors, and friends that are interested in serving as a substitute are encouraged to email Ms. Dallas at dstephenson@raleighoakcharter.org. As Covid/cold/flu/all the yucks continue to make their rounds, lots of help is needed!
Volunteer Opportunities: We have consolidated all current volunteer opportunities onto one page here. Several classroom opportunities have been added for October 31st in connection with the Day of the Dead celebration and there are still opportunities to help students with making decorations for the event. Please sign up if you have completed your background check and are able to help! Also note that the student-created altar will be open for families to visit on October 31st from 4-7pm. It’s really too beautiful to miss!
