Hey there, ROCS Families! I hope you’re all having an awesome week and getting excited for May Day festivities! Here are a few reminders for this week and next.
- Early Release Day: This Friday, April 28th is an Early Release Pajama Day. Parent Circle is grateful for any $1 donations you can send in with your students. Additionally, we have a few spots left to fill for our potluck lunch for staff. Please sign up here if you are able to contribute.
- May Day/Spirit Week: May Day is the final festival of our school year, so let’s celebrate it in a big way! We will have a Spirit Week leading up to the May Day celebration itself. Information about specific times for the May Pole and picnic lunches will come from your classroom teachers in their weekly e-mail newsletters. Please remember that Parent Circle will be hosting a “tailgate” style event in the parking lot to give you a place to hang out in between events. We’ll have coffee and a clothing swap, so bring items that are ready for a new home (especially summer items!). Spirit Week themes: Monday May 1- Monochromatic Monday (wear same color head to toe!)
Tuesday May 2 – School Spirit- ROC STAR (wear fav color, tie dye or rocs gear)Wednesday May 3- Chalk the Walk (wear play clothes that can get sidewalk chalk on them)Thursday May 4- Fairy and Gnome Day (dress as one!)Friday May 5-Flower Friday (Wear Spring Colors and Bring Flowers/Greenery for Crowns)
