Hello, ROCS Families!
It was lovely to see so many families enjoying our magical May Day celebration on Friday. I hope you enjoyed the event and the chance to share in a classic, Waldorf-inspired festival! We are also very grateful to those who joined our first ever ROCS Community Yard Sale on Saturday. It was a busy weekend!
Here are a few reminders for this week.
- Parent Circle Meeting: Our next Parent Circle meeting will be Tuesday, May 9 at 6:30pm in the Multipurpose Room. You can also attend virtually via Google Meet here. If you are considering taking a leadership role in PC next school year, please bring your questions for us! We will review the process for PC elections and those will begin soon!
- Parent Craft Group: Calling all crafty parents (or parents who just like coffee or feel like talking to grownups for an hour or two)! Join us for ROCS’ Parent Craft Group on Thursday, May 11 right after morning dropoff at NoRa Cafe on Strickland Road. Bring a project to work on or just come hang out. Kiddos are welcome.
- Save the Date! We will need all hands on deck as we move out of Forum Drive and into our new, larger space on Sumner Blvd. This is a great time to get in those volunteer hours you’ve been meaning to catch up on and an opportunity to get to know our awesome community better. Please stayed tuned, as we will have two big volunteer events happening June 16-18 and June 23-25! Signups coming soon!
- Volunteer Opportunities: please visit our Signup page for volunteer opportunities running through the end of school. Our teacher snack cart is especially in need of some replenishment signups.
Thank you for all you do to support ROCS!
