Hello, ROCStars!
I hope all of your students enjoyed the Festival of Courage on Friday. The students were treated to a whole-school morning circle, a dance performance by our 8th graders and a play about St. George and the Dragon featuring some of our finest staff thespians! May we all be filled with the courage to face our own (hopefully) metaphorical dragons! Our next Festival will be the Day of the Dead. Mark your calendars now for our entire year of festivals: Festival 2023-2024
Parent Circle will host our first Spirit Night of the near next Friday, October 6th. Our fabulous Art teacher, Ms. Harbeson, will lead students in painting a beautiful fall scene while the adults socialize. Pizza, salad and drinks will be served. For more information and to see a preview of the lovely painting Ms. Harbeson has created, please see the registration form here. Please register by October 1 to allow for planning time. Space is limited!
Our Hands Committee is getting ready to revamp the garden beds on the playground. We will be organizing some workdays in the next couple of weeks to assemble and prepare beds for fall planting. Keep an eye on this space for volunteer sign ups!
Our next Parent Circle meeting will be Tuesday, October 10th at 6:30pm. We will meet in the Movement/Multipurpose Room and will stream the meeting via Google Meet as well.
Have a great week!
