Hello, ROCS Families!
A couple of quick notes for this short school week are below.
- Early Release Day: Friday, January 19th is an Early Release Day. Please remember that your children are welcome to wear comfy pajamas to school on all Early Release days. If you are able to donate $1 to Parent Circle, we appreciate all Pajama Day donations. Your child’s teacher can accept cash or you can donate via PayPal (paypal.me/ROCSPC) or Venmo (@ROCSPC).
- Staff Potluck: On January 19th, Parent Circle will treat out awesome staff to a potluck lunch. Please sign up to bring a dish if you are able! We still have a lot of spots available on the sign up sheet and appreciate your help to make sure our staff feels the love!
- School Food Pantry: Parent Circle maintains a food pantry for any student who may need a snack or lunch. After the holidays, the pantry needs restocking. An Amazon Wishlist is here, or you can purchase items at your regular grocery store and send them in!
- Winter Faire: Our next amazing festival is our Winter Faire. Plan to join us on February 16th from 5-8pm for vendors, food trucks, entertainment, and more! Vendor applications are currently open and tables are $25 for members of the ROCS community and $45 for other businesses. Apply here by February 5th. Questions about Winter Faire should go to Ms. Winthrop.
- Spirit Night at Sweet Frog: It’s been a little while since we’ve had a Spirit Night, so let’s kick off 2024 with a sweet treat! On Thursday, January 25th from 3:00pm-9:00pm, come out to Sweet Frog at Plantation Point Shopping Center to enjoy some froyo with your best ROCS pals. If you mention ROCS, the school will receive 25% of the proceeds of your purchase.
