Hello ROCStar Families,
Our first Parent Circle meeting will be held on Tuesday September 10th @ 6:30pm in the ROCS movement room. We will accommodate virtual attendance via Google Meet. These meetings are informal and we welcome parent input and feedback. In the meantime, we’d like to share a few updates and important links:
Committee Interest: Vacant committee positions include Hearts Lead, Room Parent Liaison, and Festivals Liaison. If you are interested in any of these positions, please complete this form.
Room Parent Interest: If you are interested in becoming a Room Parent for your classroom, please complete this form.
Ride Share Interest: If you are interested in finding carpool buddies for travel to and from ROCS, please complete this form. *Note: if you’ve already completed the form, you do not need to fill it out again! Results will be sent out to all families that signed up.
Book Club: Hosted by Ms. Reading. First meeting to discuss “The Anxious Generation” by Jonathan Haidt is set for September 17th @ 7:30pm. There is no need to finish the entire book before the first meeting, discussion will be broken down by sections. These meetings will be held virtually to allow as many families to participate as possible. Google Meet link: coming soon.
Spirit Night: Parents Night Out. Drop your kids off and enjoy a night out! Please purchase your tickets in advance via the QR code so Pro 3:5 can ensure adequate staffing. Join us at Compass Rose Brewery next door if you’d like to stay close. We hope to see you there!
