With our first Parent Circle meeting under our belt, we have a lot to share with you!

- Tia Roxi needs donations of clean milk jugs and felt/fake flowers for Day of the Dead. You can send these items in with your student(s).
- Hearts

- National Custodian Day is Oct 2nd. Our very own Ms. White is entirely deserving of this recognition! Gifts can be dropped off at the front office and kind words can be sent to jwhite@raleighoakcharter.org.
- Pajama Day will now be on the last Friday of every month. Bring $1 or your spare change for a classroom challenge!
- Our first staff luncheon/potluck will be on Friday 10/4 (Teacher Workday). A sign-up for items will be available soon.
- The ROCStar of the month for September is Ms. Biggs (Kindergarten). jgarner@raleighoakcharter.org

- Fundraising
- Our first Spirit Night is a Parents Night Out! Friday September 20th at Pro 3:5 Sports from 6:00p-8:30p. Join us at Compass Rose (next door) while the kids play!
- MISC
- The first meeting of Book Club with Ms. Reading, for “The Anxious Generation” by Jonathan Haidt, is on 9/17 @ 7:30p. To accommodate as many families as possible, these meetings will be held virtually, via Google Meet. These meetings will break the book down by section, so there’s no need to have finished the book before the first meeting.
- CARPOOL VOLUNTEERS: Morning and afternoon volunteers needed to help open car doors and ensure the safety of our students. Sign up here.
