The ROCS Board of Directors will hold a virtual special session on Friday, November 11, 2022 at 1:00pm to discuss (1) potential follow-up communications to the Charter School Advisory Board related to our Charter Renewal, (2) a charter amendment, (3) a potential extension of the engagement of Leaders Building Leaders and (4) to go into closed session to “prevent the disclosure of information that is privileged or confidential pursuant to the law of this State or of the United States” and “to establish, or to instruct the public body’s staff or negotiating agents concerning the position to be taken by or on behalf of the public body in negotiating (i) the price and other material terms of a contract or proposed contract for the acquisition of real property by purchase, option, exchange, or lease” per NC Open Meetings Law 143-318.11(a)(1) and (5).
The meeting will take place via simultaneous communication. Members of the public can always join the public portion of our meetings using the conference video or telephone information below. As a reminder, public comment is only offered at each regular monthly board meeting.
