I hope you’re enjoying this lovely fall weather. We have some exciting things happening at ROCS to share with you.
- Carpool Raffle: Are you tired of waiting and waiting in the carpool line and getting there at lunchtime to secure a good spot in line? Enter our carpool raffle for the VIP, skip-the-line treatment. We’ll have volunteers selling raffle tickets in the carpool line on October 17th and 18th. Tickets are $1 a piece (cash only) and there’s no limit on how many you can purchase. The winner will have a carpool “fast pass” for a month and we’ll start doing monthly drawings in November! We’ll have some other opportunities for bonus entries for completed volunteer hours and possibly an auction for a longer-term VIP experience. Stay tuned, but bring your cash Tuesday the 17th and Wednesday the 18th to buy your entries for the first drawing. All proceeds will benefit Parent Circle and the work we do to support staff, students and our school community.
- Dia de los Muertos Volunteers: Tia Roxi has some opportunities for families to volunteer to help students create crafts for the Dia de los Muertos Festival. You must have a valid background check to volunteer in the classroom. All volunteer needs are on this sign up.
We have some other updates that will be coming very soon (including a chance to sneak a peak at the plans for our permanent home and ask questions!!!), so keep an eye out for another update shortly!
