Happy last week before Spring Break! Whether you plan to head to the beach or stay home and make pollencastles and/or pollen angels, we have a couple of exciting things on the horizon!
First, the Book Fair is back! For the first time since Covid, ROCS is excited to host a Scholastic Book Fair. Remember how exciting it was to see those big carts full of books roll into your elementary school gym and know you were going to get the latest Baby-Sitters Club book and the best poster for your room? Just me? Well, in any case, all of that new-book-smell magic will be rolling into ROCS from April 15-19th for your student’s shopping delight! You’ll get more details (like how eWallet works and how you can be a magical Book Gnome for a student in need) from your teacher, but we will need a bunch of parent volunteers for this event. Please sign up for the shifts you can volunteer here.
Second, Parent Circle will be providing a catered lunch on the March 29th Early Release Day for our incredible staff to send them off for Spring Break. If you would like to donate towards the cost of the meal, please use the Parent Circle Venmo (@ROCSPC) or Paypal (paypal.me/ROCSPC). Thank you so much to everyone who participated in our last pot luck for the staff. We received so much positive feedback about the meal and could tell the staff appreciated your efforts! This will also be a Pajama Day, so get comfy and bring $1 for Parent Circle if you’re able!
